I absolutely loved working with Kate at As You Are Nutrition. She was very understanding of my nutrition support needs and goals and helped me problem solve and find a variety of ways for me to meet those goals. I am so grateful for her resources and holistic approach to addressing my nutrion and health concerns. The amount of education around why certain things would work for me was the piece that helped me stick to my plans. She provided me with realistic benchmarch and tools to meet them. I have been eating a plant based diet since my teens (almost 15 years now with the last 8 of them being vegan) and this is the first time I have received support with my diet and nutrition. I would absolutely recommend working with Kate. She's incredibly knowledgable about all types of diets and is warm, affirming, encouraging, and friendly in her sessions.

Kate Carlevato has helped me through my whole pregnancy! She has been helping me understand what my and my baby’s nutritional needs are and how to meet those needs with food. She has been so kind and sweet to talk with and learn from! She has helped me reach out to local food resources so I can have access to affordable foods. I’ve been on a very tight budget and Kate has helped me figure out how to meet my nutritional needs while on that budget. I feel like I’ve learned a lot and feel more confident in the kitchen. Kate really is so kind and I felt comfortable talking to her about more sensitive issues that affect my eating habits. She is highly knowledgeable about my needs during pregnancy. I’m thankful for all that she has done! I highly recommend her!

I have been to several eating disorder treatment programs, seen multiple nutritionists in the past, and nothing has compared to the care I’ve received from As You Are Nutrition. I’ve been working with Bri for several months now and am enjoying the healthiest relationship with food that I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve really appreciated being met where I’m at and the ability to take my relationship with food at my own pace, I’ve never been pressured to do anything I’m uncomfortable with or not ready for, which has helped me to build a really strong foundation. It’s been a breath of fresh air to work with a nutritionist who is trauma informed, trans affirming, and who understands the compounding variables of neurodiversity and gender dysphoria as they relate to food behaviors. Something else that has set As You Are Nutrition apart from other providers I’ve worked with in the past is that I haven’t felt pathologized as a patient through this process, which has helped me give so much more grace to myself and has removed past shame. 10/10 recommend As You Are Nutrition!
