Wonderful experience and great haircut! I have not had my hair cut in a long time due to pandemic. Finally chose Asante because of their Aveda salon status, safety conscious practices and location at the RedmondTown Center where I knew there would be plenty of hassle-free parking. I parked at the indoor garage on P2 and wandered around til I found the place. If you haven't been here, I would allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes to make sure you can find it. Once arrived, you are greeted with a friendly attitude as well as protocols. Use hand sanitizer, get temp taken, and then employee performing services will help you get settled. For me, this visit was with Roxie, a super sweet and down to earth person who understands the challenges of many types of people, lifestyles and of course hair concerns. She truly took the time to hear me, to cut my hair as I wished, with no judgement, just using her effortless skills. The conversation flowed and we were able to achieve exactly the natural look I wanted. Shampoo was relaxing and luxurious. Then calm haircut. Note that due to health and safety concerns, blow drying of hair is limited. Ask about it when you book your appointment. For me, I enjoyed leaving with hair that was not heat treated. The natural curl has started to return after getting at least a couple inches lopped off. I can't wait to return for another visit to shorten my hair again. I do recommend this salon for sure!
