Brought in a pair of Oakley Whiskers with a slightly bent arm and missing nosepad. I was welcomed into the shop and confidently told the repairs would be no problem. It literally took 3 minutes to replace the nosepads and straighten the arm. Since I brought in my own replacement nosepads I wasn't even charged for the repairs. I couldn't have asked for more friendly, professional service. Consider me a customer for life!

Want to charge $65 for half of a hinge that is a very common style. I saw the hinge online for $3 and didn't want to wait for shipping because it's bright as heck. As I left the shop the short guy with glasses says "good luck finding it for under $65". This place is highway robery. Do not go here.

Paid $40 to replace nose pads; was sold thin, plastic push-on pads that were uncomfortable and would not stay on. Contacted Asterix – was told they would have to order the “correct” pads; waited a month, no call, reached out; was told another 2 weeks; gave them 4 weeks; again, no call – had to contact them (both times). Finally admitted they were unable to order the “correct” pads. Offered to replace nosepiece with different pads for another $25. Found a repair shop that attached standard silicone pads to the existing nosepiece for less than half what Asterix charged; took 10 minutes to fix but was a struggle due to the arms being cut down. Asterix was unwilling to refund my $40 b/c "they had spent time cutting down the arms of the nosepiece". I didn't ask that the arms be cut down; I simply trusted their process, as they held themselves out as “experts”. After much back and forth, they offered a partial refund, which was not fair as I had to pay another shop to do what I had already paid them to do. Needless to say I won't be back. Would give zero stars if I could. Fortunately, I found a competent shop that is honest, easy to deal with, and reasonably-priced--unfortunately, I didn't find that repair shop first.
