This man. This man right here is by far the most rude and most unresponsive man I have ever met. Let me take you on a journey that we have been dealing with for the past two years. Behind our home there is an alley way that our neighbors use to dispose of their trash so pick up is in the alley. For the past 2 years the man has knocked down and physically pulled out our phone line. My grandma lives in this home and she has no access to any other phone besides her landline line because she is losing her vision so she has memorized the buttons on her phone. This last time I went to go confront the man because how is it possible that we do not have any issues with the other two trucks that are back there but this man always speeds back through that alley every single time. Prior to my confrontation my boyfriend spoke to this man and he claimed to not have understood any English. I however speak Spanish and when confronted tried to make me feel stupid. And I kept correcting him. I have never been one to complain but the entire interaction he did not care and I have videos of him denying everything meanwhile the cameras in the home have shown him pulling the wire out physically from my house. I’ve never said this before but he needs to be fired. And while I am still awaiting a call from Athena I will make complain after complaint until this is resolved. He physically damaged the house. Athen is the worst fricken company EVER.

Never had a waste service as bad as these guys. Not surprised everyone else has the same issues. We're going on week 3 of our trash not being picked up. Even when they have rescheduled to come pick it up they still don't show up. The usual guy is also really unprofessional, can hear him from inside cursing and complaining about the trash cmon dude its your job not to mention also leaves trash scattered and at time on my small box garden.

The service is way below average. Customer service is terrible. City of Downey if you love your people please provide a better company than this joker. My broken trash bin that they promise every week still waiting to be replaced. I already told them I have disability and it’s very hard to move the bin without the wheel but they never replaced them. It’s been 6 weeks now and they didn’t do anything. I asked for a supervisor, they promised they will call but they never did. Frustrating I wish we have better option than this terrible company.
