Atlas Fish in Langley is full of surprises, starting with its convenient location connected to a casino. I wasn’t expecting it to be so busy, but clearly, the word is out about this place. We went with a group of friends and were definitely not disappointed.
We started with the prawns 🦐, beef 🐄 carpaccio, and oysterswhich we're awesome choices across the board. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and had us wanting more. For the main course, I went for the surf and turf with steak 🥩 and lobster 🦞. It did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, with those beautiful grill marks that make your mouth water just looking at them.
All in all, Atlas Fish is a great spot for anyone looking for a good meal with a side of excitement, thanks to the casino next door. It's definitely a place I’ll be visiting again!
I visited today to celebrate my sister and her fiancé’s marriage, as they came from London to visit my parents. We made a reservation for 4:45 and were greeted by a lovely host. However, our server, Julie, made the experience quite unpleasant. When she asked if we were celebrating anything, we informed her that we were there for my sister’s engagement and wedding, yet we did not receive any complimentary dessert. I mention this because I’ve been to the Burnaby Atlas several times, and whenever we share that we’re celebrating, they always provide us with a complimentary Baked Alaska dessert.
Additionally, we were missing one place setting and had to ask the busser for it, as our server didn’t check on us regularly. She was quite rude overall. We only received potato chips as complimentary appetizers, and knowing we were supposed to get brioche buns, we had to ask for those as well. The busser eventually brought them and apologized for the oversight.
Overall, it was a horrible experience. The food quality was not the main issue; the service was simply unacceptable.
