August Music is absolutely amazing!
August is a great guy and has helped me learn quite a bit about how to play the guitar over the time that I have been doing lessons with him. He helps you to learn what YOU want to learn and he has never pushed me to do stuff that I don’t feel comfortable doing, he just gets to know where your strengths and weaknesses are so that he doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed.
We do our lessons over Zoom, and even though I’m not actually there with him, he helps me a lot and has a very professional zoom setup that makes it easy for me to follow along with him. And he is a super fun guy to do lessons with! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great guitar teacher!

I truly love working with August. I believe he’s a musical genius. His talent is multi-faceted and he manages to translate it to you at whatever phase of learning you are, in a way that’s fun, motivating, inspiring and tailored to your individual learning style. I love learning from August, and I appreciate his love of music and desire to inspire personal creativity. Everyone has music in them. August can help you find it and bring it to life. All you have to do is spend some quality time with him, and practice.

I really enjoyed my lessons with August. I had taken lessons from other people in the past and he has a unique and refreshing way of teaching. This was my first time taking virtual lessons and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the setup worked! I especially appreciated the emphasis on playing by ear and not having to rely on sheet music.
