On a recent road trip from Portland to Boise, I got a Check Engine Light. We looked for local places to get a diagnosis and found the Auto Clinic of Pendleton. It had high ratings and was nearby.
Mike was very helpful even before we got there as the maps app was not precise as to where to go. After calling him a second time for directions we were able to obtain the assistance we needed.
Even though he was busy, Mike fit us in. He read the codes, offered his advice, and gave us some troubleshooting tips to help us decide if we should continue our trip or turn back. He charged a small fee for his effort. It was fair and appropriate.
We continued cautiously and made it to Boise where it was determined that significant repairs were necessary. Thanks to Mike and his advice, I was able to provide the dealer with information that helped them repair the problem.
