Called to see if this AutoZone was open because the last time I checked six months ago it was closed indefinitely. The first time I called the person talked for about one minute and then put the phone down and I had to wait five more minutes before I finally just hung up, I could hear the person talking to someone else, but obviously was not a customer. I called back again and Chris answered and when I asked if they were open from being closed for a while, the answer was very lackluster and it made me feel that I was bothering them with a question like that.
Customer service has gone down all over the place, but this is an all-time low, because when you talk to people over the phone, you have to be extra careful on how you sound because people are not in front of you. I’ll be going to O’Reillys.
