Our 93 year old Dad moved into Wyatt House Assisted living on Bainbridge last spring, and it’s been wonderful! It didn’t take Dad very long at all to get settled in and accustomed to the place, thanks to the lovely, welcoming staff and the many friendly residents. Everyone there also made my sister and I feel right at home as we were in and out every day. The activities available were great. Dad much enjoyed a marimba concert put on by a school group, a ukulele sing-along with all his favorite old songs. He went on trips to the museum and enjoyed bird watching on the weekly “mystery rides” around the island. (Perrin, the activities coordinator is brilliant!) The whole staff has been truly outstanding, warm and always ready to trouble-shoot or get creative to figure out what works well for every individual joining the community. Being right on the edge of town, there are many nice walks right nearby. I also don’t want to forget to mention that Wyatt has a great chef who makes outstanding soups and is very accommodating of residents’ special requests.
