Bakersfield Speech Therapy Group

There are not enough positive words to say about Tracy and Bakersfield Speech Therapy Group. Our son had "R" and "L" sound troubles but all of the Los Angeles speech therapists we reached out to wouldn't take him because they said his speech needs were "cosmetic." I was shocked and disappointed by this BUT a friend recommended Tracy and WOW am I glad we didn't find someone in LA. Tracy met weekly over zoom with my 7 year old and was incredible. She had a great way with him, amazing practice speech words--even including lots of his favorite Harry Potter characters to help with his "R" sounds!! She sent us weekly homework and tools to improve and was always kind and patient even as there were times our son was frustrated. Of course the patient has to put in the work too but Tracy really made our son want to keep working and improving!! My mother is a speech therapist and so I have some insight into the profession and Tracy really is a dedicated, passionate and excellent therapist. I highly recommend her to kids and adults who need speech therapy services.
