Completely destroyed one of my favorite sweaters that was over 250$, scratched up the wool and then left a note on my hanger that said “we couldn’t get these stains off without damaging this item” as if I am stupid and wouldn’t have noticed these stains existed prior to dropping off the sweater. I am upset and disappointed. Also stabbed a hole through a visible tag that stays on the outside of a nice scarf with a large clothespin. I don’t understand what the thought process was behind this. I will go into the store and ask for a refund for both of the damages to my items. But there is no way I will return after this last visit. I can’t trust them with my items.
Bakker's and the staff do a great job with all my dry cleaning in the Ballard location. They are quick, efficient, and almost always can get that awful stain out. They were even able to track down a belt for a piece that was dry-cleaned at the main facility. Recommend highly. Laurel
