Every aspect of the experience was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got my key copied for $4 in the time it took me to get the cash from the ATM downstairs.

I called Ballard Lock & Key a month or so ago because the hours say open until 11pm. I was looking to have a second key fob made for my car. The person that answered said I needed to go into the location near Ballard Auto Licensing and he’s open till 5pm. I just drove over to have the key made and they are closed at 4pm and a paper sign saying “closed until June 10th”. I called and the number has a voicemail box that hasn’t been set up. How do these places stay in business?? Unbelievable.
