My adult children came into the bank today to cash a deposit refund from their apartments. It was a BOA check. The teller and floor manager refuse to cast a check stating that the information and the system was incorrect. I called the apartment complex they assured me that all the information all the check was correct, and we went to a different bank and had no problems at all. My children are young African-Americans. 20 and 19. I taught my children to live right play by the rules and they will be treated fairly. I hate to jump to conclusions but this is the only one that I have. The apartment complex verified their information! The other bank had no problem looking up the information and cashing the check! This bank refuse to verify and provide my children with the service. I would love an explanation or response. I am not letting this matter go I will deathly be in contact with someone from corporate

Scheduled an appointment at this branch well in advance, making sure to leave a detailed description of exactly what I needed. They didn’t bother to contact me ahead of time to let me know they would not be ‘able’ to fulfill the request—until I arrived to check in for my appointment and the man simply tried to upsell me. Total waste of my time, especially after carrying a considerable balance with this establishment for literal decades. Very, very disappointing, and definitely making me take a hard look at other banking options. Bank of America, I expected far better service.

Safe to say I will never open an account with Bank of America. They refused to answer any questions I had about currency exchange without me having to open an account.
To the reply from BoA: Unhelpful reply at all, those terms are obvious. To clarify my question were what the exchange rates for foreign currencies that BoA offered.
