Bao Box Covington - Dumplings

The cost to food ratio is way off. For 9 bucks, you get 6 small dumplings with nothing else. I saw my meal, ate it in 10 seconds (not an exaggeration), and then left to go get food elsewhere.

The staff is nice and the place looks alright, but the servings are so low compared to the cost, with no rice or anything to speak of, it felt absurd.

Bao Box at the taste was very disappointing. Dan dan noodles were just noodles with a little bit of chili oil. No pork no sauce no anything. Baos were good but noodles are bad

So excited to see this offer dumpling spot- love me some Dim Sum. It was approximately 20 mins until the order was ready. Interestingly enough, the dumplings we waited for were mushy- way overcooked. The sauce was amazing and just the right amount of zip. I hope this new business refines their cooking time so I can continue to enjoy this local dumpling.
