This WAS our go-to store. We frequent this BR at least a few times a month for the past 3 years after we moved to Puyallup. Friendly staffs, good locations and always a treat for us to visit. If we did not get such good services from prior times, this would be a “0” star review.
I was in the store yesterday to purchase some ice cream for my wife, like we did the handful of times the past few months. Things was going good like usual until we saw an employee wearing her mask under her chin - full mouth and nose exposed - laughing and talking with another employee - while facing the ice cream. This doesn’t make me feel comfortable at all! With our current pandemic environment, we should all do our part. We should feel comfortable going into a business and KNOW that it is a safe place to spend our money and a safe food handling environment. Laughing and talking while facing the ice cream with no additional protection in between is NOT safe food practice! If this is done with customers present, I can’t imagine what happens when there’s no one around. It might just be a simple lapse in forgetting, but this is not the first week the employees had masks on - the employees have had it for the past couple of months - so it just makes me feel like the employee are not taking the health of everyone in the store seriously. Very disappointed as we will now have to find another location for our ice cream.
