My girlfriend and I stayed on the fourth floor. I was awakened by my leg getting bitten. After hearing horror stories of bed bugs at hotels, I was freaked out, so I checked to see what had bitten me. All of a sudden I saw a bed bug crawl across the comforter. We were horrified and started packing up immediately. Overall the staff was pretty friendly and helpful our room wasn't bad either. Everything worked and was in decent shape. It's not a five star hotel I would have given it four stars if it didn't have bed bugs. After reading reviews which I wished I had done prior to making our reservations, I read that just a month earlier, someone else had reported getting bitten and another incident not long before that one. I feel the hotel staff has known about the issue and has not done anything about it. I confronted the lady at the front desk and actually gave her a little flower that came off the bedspread where the bedbugs were hiding. It was wrapped in plastic with bed bugs in it. She didn't say anything but she did give me the hotel managers email address and told me to notify him which I have done so but have not heard back yet. I will not stay here again and don't recommend it until something is done about their bed bug problem.
Debbie checked Us in and was amazing. She gave us an additional 10 minutes to tell us about history, restaurants, and other places to see. Give this young lady a raise immediately. Our room Was great, had everything we needed and was very large with a balcony. Price was Super as well. Breakfast was really good, Thank you very much for a great stay
