the night clerk was very helpful and polite. the day clerk clearly ignored my daughter in her wheelchair trying to get in the front door, which was very unkind and there was no automatic door open button for her to use. the ADA room was NOT ADA; not enough room for her wheelchair to get around. Also, the entire place could use a good deep cleaning. also, the pool is unheated which made it very uncomfortable to use for EVERYONE sttaying there.
Stayed Sat to Tues. We were on the bottom floor and could not shut the heavy curtains for privacy. They were partial curtains. Toilet handle didn't work properly and would run until jiggled. Bathtub didn't have no-slip grips so stepping in to shower was slippery and hazardous. Spout in the bath had to be jiggled to get the shower thing to pull up. Room had a funky smell but at least the window opened to clear that out. Carpet had sticky spots on it. Hot tub was clean on Monday and Tuesday. Lots of people on the weekend so I'm sure that's why it wasn't real clean then. Breakfast was very average looking. I wasn't brave enough to try the "eggs" or sausage, but the yogurt choices were fine. The people seemed friendly enough, especially housekeeping. Oh! Beds were comfortable. Overall, the room needed maintenance, and deep cleaning. I wasn't altogether happy. If I could find a better maintained place, similar price, with a hot tub, I'd not come here again.
