Good guys! A bunch of good guys Gil the owner, He is extremely knowledgeable and all of his products that he sells . Nick the guy who runs the place from behind the counter. He's the best. He too is extremely knowledgeable in all the products he sells. You can ask them anything they know the answers . You will not meet nicer people. Their prices are right down the middle. The service is top notch. The guy who helps you load the truck he will go out of his way to help you to make sure your load is tied down properly.. He's a busy guy but he'll still do that for you. I'm telling a great group of guys. I discovered BG garage door supply about a year and a half ago and they're my first choice always for anything to do with garage doors, gates or access control. They have it all and in stock. They are extremely professional but they have that personal touch thing going on at the same time. That's hard to do. But they do it very well. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Did I mention they're open on Sundays!

Gate repairmen in LA are shady. I had been trying to fix my Liftmaster gate for almost a year. It would open randomly and not stop. I would read the manual and youtube videos and call the service # and try everything suggested. It would work for a little while and always the problem returned. One day i just called Gil @ BD, and he told me to come in. He listened to me and asked questions for like 20 minutes and though i thought I needed a board, he warned me that it wasn't refundable, so he gave me several other suggestions and sent me home. I already had 2 Repairmen try to replace my board for over $800. Well, eventually it did turn out to be the board, but Gil suggested I get a board that was refundable in case it wasn't the board I could return it, even though we were 95% sure it was the board. In other words, he was more interested in me finding a solution than selling me something. And by installing it myself, I saved $400. I went to BD 3 times and he never pressured me to buy anything - only offering suggestions to what it could be. Eventually I had to buy one part to accompany the board, and he made it very clear how to attach it. Gil helped me learn more about that Liftmaster than any video or book. Exceptional service.
