Such a charming place! Jill is so friendly and attentive. She makes you feel like family. The breakfast in the morning was my favorite part-being able to meet new people and share stories during breakfast was awesome! This is the only place I will stay next time I’m in the area!!

Our stay at the Bear Creek Inn was definitely a winner. We will definitely return whenever we are in the area and there is a room available. The reservation process was seamless, the innkeeper was an amazing lady, so helpful and friendly, the breakfast chef was a wonderful girl and the food was well prepared. The grounds around the Inn are landscaped beautifully. There is a large park within walking distance where clear walking paths are available. There are also restaurants close by.

We stayed here while passing through Merced to avoid the cookie-cutter hotel chains. Although we were delayed by weather, we were sent clear, accurate instructions on letting ourselves in, and there were clear instructions on amenities to make our stay more comfortable. The common areas of the inn are charming and gracious. Our room was extremely spacious, and decorated in period style. Breakfast was good, and our hostess very friendly. We'll definitely stay there again if traveling near Merced.
