The road washes out a mile in so you have to hike another to get to the trailhead (if you don’t have 4wd). Then it’a a mile and half down switchbacks in the shade to find the creek below.

Very pretty hike. It is very steep and very narrow. It will be a reckless adventure to go down if you are not prepared. Definitely worth it, but going there in the late fall, winter, or early spring time requires special ice shoes, and some special gear...Very steep and icy climb down may easily result in an injury, it is that easy to slide of the trail in the canyon of about a mile deep. Worth going there though, secluded and peaceful canyon, pretty nature. ..Also, one thing to notice is that there was some trash along the trail in more than few places. People, do not trash the planet. If you bring in something, take it out with you ...Please!

Great hike down to creek, hidden jem for sure. There are snakes, bring plenty of water and snacks. Climb back up is pretty rough but we'll worth it.
