This place is amazing if you’re looking for a large selection of bamboo. Stan is a great person that won’t pressure you into buying anything. He ended up giving me a seedling that is not longer available to buy that originates from Chile! The bamboo looked lush and healthy. We went to Swanson’s the next day to look at Bamboo but this place takes the cake and the plants are obviously taken care of!

Ive been curious about Beauty and the Bamboo and was hoping to convince my wife and daughter to join me. I thought it may surprise them, they might enjoy themselves, and start to develop an appreciation of bamboo.
Ultimately I visited Beauty and the Bamboo with my wife and nearly 4 year old in tow and, dear readers, it was magical.
Stan is an absolute gem. He was so friendly and welcoming and he was immediately engaging with my daughter. Once inside Stan led us on an adventure through this bamboo wonderland that has been hidden in plain sight but blocks away. My wife and daughter had a blast and have been talking about bamboo ever since.
We left with several species of bamboo I had been looking for. I never once felt pressured and his prices were exceedingly fair. I am thrilled with my purchases and I look forward to any future needs so that I may go back and spend more time with Stan and this slice of forest he has nurtured.

I live on the ground floor of an apartment building an have these large windows that I wanted to fill with some foliage instead of the concrete barrier behind it. I thought some bamboo would look really nice, I stumbled upon Beauty and the Bamboo and boy did I get lucky!
Stan is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet, he has over 30 years of experience selling & caring for bamboo and is a wealth of knowledge. He helped me pick out the perfect plants and taught me all about how to care for them. 10000% would recommend to anyone and everyone :)
