The creek was dry, the firepits closed and it was still beautiful.
No electric, water, or sewer as expected.
The camp site is huge, could easily fit 2 35 foot (total length) rigs side by side. My 25 foot 5th wheel fit, connected with perhaps 8 foot to spare.
Trees and brush surround the site (excepting the roadway). The nearest other sites at least 75 yards away, you can't see anyone else.
The road to the park is paved, but has multiple large pot holes. The road in the campground is paved and in excellent shape. The pad is paved.
There is a basic latrine across the road from my site. Paved walkway to it and it is ADA with concrete floor.
Excellent park.
We didn't stay, but the campground host was so nice that I will definitely come back we are ever in the area.
The sign said "Campground Full" but he offered us a nice spot near the entrance.
He went on to tell us other places that we could boondock after we decided to let the car behind us have our spot.
He was so polite and accommodating even after having to tell another camper to put out his fire, with extreme fire danger posted every 20' throughout the area.
I wanted to stay to help, he treated me like a brother even though he could see that we were from California.
The campground has little privacy, but the host made it feel like the place to be.
