Unfortunately my experience today 12/19/18 at the Tracy, CA. store was very, very NEGATIVE. The insulting and assumptive attitude of the young male cashier was accusatory , rude and insulting. After parking my car, I retrieved a cart from outside of the store . It had been raining most of the morning. I went to the coffee products isle , I found what I needed to purchase . I needed an additional box of expresso pods. A sales clerk appeared and after making my request he quickly retrieved the product and placed it in the cart. I got in the line and waited my turn. A different young man proceeded to total my order. I couldn't help but feel the negative attitude (towards me). He asked me, if I had spilled something on the box???. I couldn't believe the question...I answered ,"no" His coworker , informed him ,that the cart was wet, due to the rain . He did get the rage that he was seeking so, then he proceeded to find fault with my coupons . It was obvious that we were not racially the same. His question began to be " simple minded " and did not follow the policies that I was accustomed to when I shop at the Dublin Store. The young man began asking questions that made no logical train of thought. Too , too bad that he did not pay attention during the job training portions that taught PR skills and polite customer service. If he and his poor skills are allowed to go unchecked he could do great damage to the "Branding Image of Bed and Bath Stores. Finally I asked to speak to his manager She came to assist him with the transaction . Immediately this young man gathered himself together and his "Negative Attitude", was still present but with a new witness he tried to hide his disdain. I felt totally drained after what should have been a short positive transaction. No one should have to be disrespected by this employee or any other. Shoppers Beware !!!!!!
