I used to order from Beijing Garden all the time when I lived in Everett, but they have seriously gone downhill. I ordered for delivery to my office today and wish I had ordered from somewhere else.
My coworker and I ordered honey walnut prawns. They are fried prawns smothered in HONEY MUSTARD and served on iceberg lettuce (which wilts and sticks to it). It's a very odd flavor, but I guess I can deal with that. The thing that I can't deal with is the inedible hot and sour soup. The smell and flavor is VERY off-putting. It has almost a floral smell and taste to it, which is really unpleasant. The chow mein that came with our orders was apparently a mixed-protein variety and had shrimp, chicken, and beef in it. Weird, but okay. The only thing I can say was good was the spring rolls.
No utensils or napkins were included. One packet of soy sauce, one tiny cup of sesame seeds, and a second one of hot mustard. For two large meals. Further, the website says $20 minimum order, but won't let you actually place an order under $35.
