Absolutely the most wonderful alterations experience ever! I had multiple business suits needing sleeves lengthened/shortened, and the overall fit optimized, as well as a bridesmaid gown needing the bust altered. It was very easy to schedule my appointment on their website, and I could set up reminders on my phone which was super convenient. The fitting was a very easy experience, and the seamstresses are very knowledgeable, talented, precise, innovative, and super friendly. Their shop is so darling, so family-friendly... just extra cute and welcoming. They were very transparent about how long all the alterations would take. Everything was finished on time and exactly as expected, very high quality! I would 100% use this shop again. I loved everything about it!

They do great work here on bridal alterations, but they come at a steep price. They charge 2-3x more than other alterations places in Olympia ($75 to shorten straps vs $20 elsewhere, $300 to hem the dress vs $130 quoted elsewhere with dress in hand). I opted to use Bella Jean despite the outrageous prices because they could line the bodice of the dress and no other alterations places would. The dress came out perfectly and they were great to work with which. For custom alterations they are great option. If your alterations needs are fairly standard or simple you will save a lot of money going elsewhere.

My biggest fear about being a nontraditional bride with a nontraditional dress was being treated like my dress wasn't special to me and my occasion. Makenna put all those fears to rest. Not only did she show my dress care and attention to detail, but also hyped me up and took pictures and told me how beautiful it looked because I ended up having to come to my appointment alone. Loved the whole experience and process!
