I had been wanting to go to Belle Isle Seafood for some time, and today was the day (Sunday 7/27/2024). This was the priority of the day, nothing else. We drove from Melrose, and although Orient Heights had a few long lights, it was worth the wait! The menu is awesome, and my partner and I chose Lobster. She went with the Lobster pie and i went with the Lobster roll, the one with the claw and body meet and a bit more tender. The pre-lobster clam chowder was excellent and primed us for what was to come. Kim ( I believe ) was our Server and she took really great are of us. Our lobster dishes came, My parter's looked like a picture and my Lobster roll was neatly wrapped, like a Christmas present and when Unwrapped, it was incredible! The lobster was tender, sweet, plentiful and just the right amount of dressing which is NOT like mayo but something creamy enough to add a delightful favor to the lobster. The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful, smiling faces and plates piled high crossing the room to there destinations.. The views of the Airport, the Marina and the Boston Skyline, add the Boston Charm and the distant container cranes, remind os of how busy our seaport really is, but people were busy dining and enjoying the beautiful day, which we did immensely. We were NOT disappointed. Great job Bell Island Restaurant

This is my first time in Boston area travelling through and I chose this restaurant due to the proximity of the hotel. as well as the Google reviews.
Atmosphere in the restaurant was almost cafeteria like/open dining hall. It was quite loud as there was a lot going on and the place was packed. I sat up at the bar and was quite comfortable. It was quite busy for a 3:30 seating time and understandably the service was a bit slow. That said the staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. There are big screen TVs to watch the ball game and a good view out into the harbor. I had the grilled swordfish dinner and a cup portion of the clam chowder. Both of which were delicious. Pricing was very reasonable and definitely matched the quality of food.
I would definitely go back again and try some of the other items. I walked away stuffed.
It’s a good place to get a fill of seafood.
