I had a wonderful stay at BC Hotel last time. I had an overall great stay this time, but left with a sour taste in my mouth. 1) At afternoon wine tasting, there were no napkins and cutlery set up for the charcuterie board and no one to around to ask for service. 2) At morning breakfast, I didn't realize the butter was in the fridge so I went to front desk and was met by the concierge. I said "hi" and he responded with "yeah?" in a rude manner. When I asked about if they could bring butter, he contacted catering and was very dismissive with his reply. 3) Valet staff in the evening was unfriendly. 4) at 4pm I called down to ask for 2 more robes and 2 more towels to be sent up. When I returned to the hotel at 9pm, nothing was sent up. I called down and they said "oh you have 4 in your room?" Super rude again with the reply. ||||I have never been to a higher end hotel paying over US$500/night where there was such unfriendly staff members and little attention to details.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The facilities are extremely nice but more importantly each and every member of the staff went above and beyond to help with requests and to make me feel welcome. I travel for work and spend a good deal of time in and out of hotels and rarely have I been so "wowed" by a stay. This will be my go to hotel in the Seattle going forward.

We were attending a wedding weekend in the Bellevue area and shows this accommodation because of its proximity. The room was nice and the dining was very good. It was also nice to have the athletic club as an amenity. However, our room was not cleaned the day we needed to be cleaned so we could prepare for the wedding and the front desk totally dropped the ball on arranging for transportation to the wedding so we ended up having to drive ourselves.
