Dr. Malnor is a very skilled and compassionate women’s health practitioner. She is very knowledgeable and professional, while still being caring, warm, and personable. I was lucky enough to be a patient of her’s for a short time before moving out of state. Just recently I called her office with a few questions about my medical records and she took considerable time out of her busy day to call me back, answer all my questions, and to provide education plus reassurance about a matter she wasn’t even directly involved in. All for someone who isn’t even currently a patient of her’s! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Malnor!

Let me preface by saying that I have never had an appointment with Kathleen Malnor, but I did call to try to make one. What I found was that although Kathleen does not do the procedure I would eventually need, she told me exactly who to contact and exactly what to expect. She spent time explaining the procedure and likely outcome and calming the fear she heard from me, even though I was not her patient. I have NEVER had any of my gynecological GPs take the time to reassure me in a way that she did. She was kind and understanding when others have not been. I may have to go elsewhere for this, but I would happily trust this person with my health in the future!

Kathleen is great, however getting ahold of her is nearly impossible. She works part time, which is fine, but she doesn’t return calls or emails and three times I had appts with her and she didn’t remember and wasn’t at the office when I showed up. Because her bedside manner is great and she is caring, I continued to go to her, however, when it came time to confirm orders for an outside exam - she didn’t follow through, the office attempted for weeks to get ahold of her and she didn’t respond- I attempted to connect with her as well, and she didn’t respond (it’s been 3 months). Luckily my PCP was able to put in the order. I am hoping she just took a long vacation and failed to update her voicemail and doesn’t have an away message- I am now looking for a new OBGYN, which is too bad because when I did see her, I appreciated her thoroughness, professionalism, the way she educated and talked through concerns, and kindness.
