“Colon cancer can be curable” Dr Chue told me at our first visit with him in 2014. I’ve just returned from a trip to Guatemala and I was sick from food poisoning. I received a cat scan at Tacoma General and remember the look on the physician’s face when she told me how sorry she was to tell me that I had metastatic colon cancer that spread to both my lungs and liver. My primary physician told me to live my life until I was ready to be admitted to a hospice facility. My daughters and I went to SCCA and Swedish hospital to receive second opinions with the same results, treatment with chemo until I can’t tolerate it any longer. My daughters researched and found Dr. Chue. He spent time explaining his approach with low dose chemo and then surgery to remove the tumors. He also utilized alternative medicine such as acupuncture. Dr. Chue stays with you during chemo, checking on all his patients. I had three major surgeries in 5 months. Six years later I can testify that Dr. Chue was correct “Colon cancer can be curable.” Yes he is brilliant but most importantly Dr. Chue really cares and he is the best.
