Benefit Body is the absolute best. I have been coming here on and off since it pretty much opened and I absolutely love it. I now come 3 times a week and have become so strong. When I can't come because of travel, I use the techniques they teach to maintain my practice. This week alone I did two things that I had never been able to do before, which showcases how strong I have really become.
One thing you should know is that this not your traditional pilates studio, they do a mix of cardio, yoga and pilates on and off the reformer, which is great because you never know what you are going to get when you walk into class, but you know it will be spicy, fun and challenging.
What I love most about Benefit is that the instructors are absolutely wonderful and encouraging. Just when I am about to give up, I hear "Christina, you can do this." They care, they know you...they remember your name and push you just a little bit more so that you can reach your potential. The owner, Nikkita, likes to say "I love you the most" to her classes and that really sets the tone.
But this review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the community that they have built. You walk into class and you are joined by some of the strongest, most positive women (and sometimes a man) you will ever meet. We encourage each other, cheer each other on and love to welcome new people to the studio.
If you couldn't tell by now, I strongly recommend Benefit Body. The rewards you reap will be much more than a strong, sexy body.
