Hack Job. Dr. Mandell removed my implants and did a lift. He left me with horrible scars from one side of my chest to the other, 180 degrees around the front of my body. He left me with weird “side boobs” that show when I am NOT wearing a bra. Even though I am now a AAA cup size, what skin is left is saggy. He took any remaining breast tissue I had left. The nipples are uneven and one side is noticeably larger than the other. After surgery, for about 3 months, I felt like I had a broken rib. I’m not sure what happened while I was under anesthesia but something did happen. Dr. Mandell was robotic and gave a rehearsed speech. I asked Dr. Mandell about a donut mastopexy but he said it couldn’t be done.
I am 63 years old and 130 pounds at 5’-7”. I had to get the implants removed because I had them for 16 years. I went to doctor Mandell in Coeur d’Alene because he was half the price of any place in Washington. Well, you get what you pay for. Aside from the botched surgery job, the nurse was rude and dismissive. They refused to give me pain meds for more than one week. Even after 6 months, I still had weird stinging pain across the incisions but they couldn’t see me for two months. Also, the billing staff is condescending. You will be treated like a child. If you ask about the payment plan on their website, you will get some large lady from the back coming out to yell in your face. Whatever you do, do not go to Dr. Mandell.
Dr Mandel and his staff are so amazing! My surgery was very complicated. My implants had been ruptured for years and I had a LOT of scar tissue. Truthfully, I didn’t have a lot of confidence in what I would be left with. I was prepared to possibly feel deformed for the rest of my life. Well…… Dr. Mandel is sooo freaking good at what he does!!!! I can not believe how great my breasts look now! My mom said that they look like my 16 year old breasts! I couldn’t be happier! I feel more like myself now than I can ever remember!!!! Michelle has been my nurse during this journey answering all my questions and really working with me through out the recovery. She is amazing! Also, the front desk woman is always so sweet and welcoming! Highly recommend!
