Used to be my main go to shop for my wife and myself, but after the recent interactions, both maintenance service and part replacement, it's seems like the cost factor is beyond reasonable.
Brake pad/rotor/shims replacement: part cost ($617, for all parts)was based off of dealer oem part, which costed 2x has much for standard parts you can purchase at autozone/oreilly($380). the fact that shims($62)was included in the part cost when most pads come with it, really threw me off. Labor($700 for all brakes) for was the defining decision for me to go elsewhere, since other mechanics were willing to do it for literally half the cost($300). so i opted to buy the parts and outsource the labor, which reduced my total cost for it to $680>$1317.
came in for an maintenance service, and was told that something was broken and a part needed to be replaced, which i was okay with, shit happens. But didnt appreciate the clerk telling me that i wouldnt have to pay for it in manner of saving me money, i dont expect to pay for it since your broke it. not a fan of being gaslighted.
not sure where they buy parts or how they price their labor, but seems like highway robbery for the estimates in comparison to local market rate, for me to return.
