My favorite spot to swimm growing up as a teenager

Its a short walk if you come in from oregon gulch road.been swimming there for 40+ years .when in high school you could go from cherokee rd all the way to the spillway launch ramp and it was only about 200 yards to walk.It is a great place to swim early in the year usually till june or july after that the water flow isnt sufficent and it gets stagnit and green.We kept it a local secret for years not alot of people knew about it and treated it with respect.The kids now have no respect for nothing trash broken bottles id be afraid to swim im it now.

I hiked there just the other day with my daughter. We parked up at the dam the only problem with this is you have to leave before sunset. It was my first time there very beautiful
