Unpleasant customer service. Employee with pink hair wearing a mask would not greet me back as I kindly said hello... twice. (Just be a good human and say hi, I promise no bad will come from that) Same employee bluntly told me to basically deal with all of my problems as I stood there tearing up because they sold me a faulty product and had no resolution for me. It is unfortunate that this employee works in customer service but clearly has no experience. I worked in retail and dealt with similar situations all the time and even when I did not have an answer I would never be as unkind to a PAYING customer who is clearly frustrated and upset. At least act like you care when you are standing under a sign labeled "customer service". I never once received an "I am sorry", "I see your frustration" or anything of the sort. Disappointed is an understatement and no longer shopping at Best Buy.

I recently stopped into this Las Vegas Valley Best Buy location to find a new phone. While the store seemed well stocked overall, on the particular day of my visit, they seem very short staffed. When I walked into the cell phone area, there was nobody to be found. One of their employees advised that their people were helping other people in the store and that I would need to wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes to be helped. This time estimate was accurate, and I received quality service once a representative was able to join me. However, I was very surprised by how few staff there were compared to the number of customers in the store.

The customer service is friendly as soon as you come in the door. The Geek Sqard is my favorite. They explain everything and go out of their way to assist customers with their needs. Everyone walking by asking if you need help when they see you standing or looking at something. Everywhere you look, they have associates around in the store, you don't have to search to find someone. That rare nowadays.
