These stores Torrance and Hawthorne Best Buy's are among the worst companies in the South Bay. I am not talking about the hired help. They are all fantastic. Even the contract help, Geek squad and Samsung representatives are amazing. They all deserve 5 🌟stars.
It's management, in the stores. Corporate, phone systems, including automated systems, and credit card customer services. Which are outside the stores.
We, as consumers, put up with this non-sense because there aren't a lot of stores that can compete with its volume, variety, price, value, and brand names of the electronics these stores provide.
I have been a long-time customer of both these stores for more than eight years now. I have bought a variety of electronics. I have been having problems contacting them. Problems with the sale of an item. They do not tell their employees what they really need to know to inform the customer. They don't fully disclose exactly what l am buying and what l need to take place at my home for proper installation and service. For instance, l bought a 75 inch televion Samsung that needs the internet to operate properly. They wanted me to bring it in because they only service online products at my home. The telephone l purchased a Samsung with the phone provider. It's been a living nightmare for four years. My phone to this day doesn't operate right. Now, this is where my biggest complaint is and has been for 18 months now.. I used my Best Buy Visa card with a $4000.00 unsecured credit limit to purchase a Google Pixel 7 PRO $989.00 more than a year ago. I couldn't keep the phone because l had the obligation with AT&T. After my bank received payment from AT&T Because they started double dipping from two different checking accounts, l returned the phone for a full refund. However, unbenouncd, T-Moble never closed my account. For 7 months l kept calling Best Buy Visa card services, which is operated by Citi Bank to no avail. They dropped the ball twice and stated over the phone da," we can't get our money back from T-Moble." So we are going to charge you, meaning me. I told them that they were crazy. I even reported this blatantly stealing money to the Torrance police department. So it was AT&T who started the snowball effect. Then, my bank had to straighten things out. Then T-Moble blamed it on their automated systems. Stole money from Best Buy thy stoled money from me. And it is still going on. It was me who switched card numbers and, again, my idea to close my BB account. Nothing has been resolved. My credit score went from 800's to 600s. To add insult to injury, T- Moble stuck me with an underrated bill for $149.92. Best Buy Visa card is at over $1000.00. In which l am not responsible for.
