I’m so glad I found Dr. Jindia and his staff! I haven’t been to the dentist in 20 years due to past trauma, but I knew I needed to take better care of my teeth and found them on google. I previously went to another dental office and was told I needed 2 root canals along with a bunch of other serious issues. I wanted to get a second opinion just to make sure.
Front staff, Adriana, was super patient kind! She helped schedule me in and answered any questions I had (and I had a lot!). They were able to accept my X-rays from the previous office. Dr. Jindia greeted me so kindly and went over the X-rays with me. He explained how to read the X-rays and told me the concerning areas and the minor issues. His first instinct was not to get root canals. He was very honest and told me there’s a chance of saving my cavities with crowns. He was so patient and went over all my options with me. All the how’s, what’s, and why’s. After hearing his treatment plan, I decided to give the green light with them.
First, I had the pleasure of working with the hygienist Kayla. I told her about my past trauma and she was nothing but kind and gentle. She made my cleaning feel PAINLESS. She made sure to check in with me and explain what she was doing. She gave me feedback on what I did right and where to improve and how. I remember teeth cleanings being painful, but not with her! Never thought I’d say this, but I can’t wait until my next cleaning!
My next appointment with Dr. Jindia was better than I anticipated. He went over everything he was doing and would make jokes to help me get my mind off of everything. He would prep me before he did anything, which helped so much. Dr. Jindia is such an honest dentist who cares about the teeth health of his patients. You can tell he’s not there for the money. He’ll try his best to save your tooth before skipping to last resort for treatment. He did tell me there’s a chance I might still need a root canal, so I am prepared for that. I felt so welcomed and comfortable under his care!
If you or someone you know is afraid of the dentist, I HIGHLY recommend coming to see Dr. Jindia and his staff! If you need a new dentist, come see them for yourselves! They’re all so gentle and will explain everything, so you know exactly what’s going on. Again, I avoided the dentist for 20 years!! I’m also afraid of shots. I can confidently say that I’m not afraid to come in for my next appointment.
