Travelers please be advised. This property will not honor your confirmed rate on check in. I was very budget restricted on this last minute trip and used points and a gift card to get an affordable rate. This rate was confirmed and itemized on an email from Best Western and accessible on their website to view. Upon check in I was informed that the gift card was not visible and I would pay the full rate minus the points discount. I contacted central reservations and was advised that they saw my confirmed rate but could do nothing about it. As it was late and the reservation could not be canceled, I acquiesced after being told they would attempt to run the gift card again in the morning. I had to make the difficult decision to not attend my event that night as the additional unplanned expenditure made transportation costs too much of a risk. And of course to cap things off I was then placed in a room right next tbe fitness center, breakfast room, and elevator. Guess the front desk decided i was already upset so may as well seal the deal. I've always encountered good service and fair rates at Best Western and have been trying to stay loyal in my travels. This makes me reconsider that relationship. If can't trust a confirmed rate how can I budget my trips? Now I am waiting 5 to 7 business days to receive a refund of money that should never have been spent.
