Very nice cozy little park tucked away in the heart of the city. Could use a little maintenance. But all in all, a great place to stop for a shady little picnic and see a bit of gold mining history.

Beautiful plants! But the signs have a 5 hour parking limit difference. One sign says 3 hours parking, the other one says 8 hour parking limit. For the same parking lot!! One sign says "public parking" with an arrow pointing towards the confused parking lot. A sign hung on the same pole right below that sign says "No parking". So which one is correct? 3 hour parking 9am-6pm. Ok what is the time limit after 6pm?! So many rules and regulations and signs that they are contradicting each other!!

Did I miss something? It was very small and the little trail was maybe five minutes. Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful place but the pictures on here that I’m seeing so it’s like a little pond. All I saw was the freeway and beautiful scenery and a small area. As somebody mentioned, there are two picnic tables. I won’t be back unless someone tells me that there is a pond somewhere close by and I can walk around with my little dog.
