This is the place you want to go if your preteen kid needs a soccer ball, or you’re in a pinch for some camping gear, or your looking for a great deal on…. Well, something… If you want pro gear, you might want to look elsewhere. However, I give it 5 stars b/c the people that work there are some of friendliest, most helpful people I’ve run into in retail. I’ve never not had someone resolve a problem or question and they make returns simple!
Cashier Miguel valued his plastic bag over their customer. I just bought two (2) balls, they cost me $27+ each. I’ve requested to put them on separate plastic bag as they were intended to be as casual gifts, Miguel refused for no apparent reason even if I suggested to pay for the extra bag. I left the store disappointed knowing that I will give the other ball to my grandkid unwrapped. It would have been a better sight for the kid if it is wrapped in a Big 5 plastic bag. I will shop to the other Sporting Goods next time.
