My 10 year old and I stopped by Big Lots this morning. My son is very well behaved and stayed in the basket 99% of the time. My son found this little skateboard in the middle of the isle and of course, since he is a kid, he touched it. He may have even caused it to slightly move (but I don't think so - just trying to give the employee the benefit of the doubt here). Anyway, I told him not to touch it anymore and to just leave it alone. Fast forward 5 minutes, there was an employee (male with brown hair, maybe in his late 20's - half his hair was shaved with some long pieces hanging off maybe into a braid of some type) who was putting stuff out and I happened to look up while walking right by the isle he was at, and he was staring at me and was giving me the creepiest look. That skateboard in his hand. Im only assuming, so its just my thought but im guessing he thought we just set it aside or something? I really have no clue because my boy barely touched it. There weren't other ones, so I really have no idea where it came from initially either. I couldn't believe the look he continued to give me, while shaking his head and keeping his eyes on us. He was acting very creepy, so I just tried to stay out of his way. I let it go but then my son told me he felt like we needed to leave the store right away. I asked him what was wrong and he said that same employee was giving him scary looks and continued to stare at him. We had a cart full at this point, so we ran to check out and left as quick as possible. I can't even believe how an employee can act so horrible towards customers. We didn't do anything wrong here but I did tell my son, once we got in the car, that in the future we can bring random items that are on the ground straight to an employee, so he doesn't ever have to worry about this gentleman harassing him again. We love big lots and we are hoping this gentleman doesn't do this to other customers because he made things overly uncomfortable.
