Penney is the nicest park ranger ever! She let us use her WiFi and was so nice to chat with. I hope she is doing well. Mosquitoes can be bad at night but you’re camping in a meadow, what do you expect. Stream stocked with rainbow trout down the road from campsites is stunning.

Awesome campground, bring warm clothes and good sleeping bags. It gets to 40 °F at night during the summer. You're surrounded by nature. it's amazing. Definitely come prepared to stay up late. The night sky is amazing.

Great place to set up camp plenty of spots to pick after you pass all five of the main camping zones, if your looking to deer/bear hunt in D8 there is a lot of ground to cover.. tons of trails
