Local chain selling a large selection of comic books plus publishing their own materials.

Big planet comics is still the best local comic shop experience I've ever had. The staff are phenomenal, the selection is stupendous. I get all of my issues, TBPs, and OHCs from this spot.

We come here maybe once a month. I wish they had a few more options for kids, and maybe a little place to sit (realizing that these stores want people to BUY the comics and then read them). For example the old Idle Times books in Adams Morgan has made good use of their space for that purpose. The staff is really helpful, and we always leave with a few new things. Do you have an email list?

I moved out of the city long ago but I still drive in to get my books here because the people, service & selection are all top notch.
