Edit; We love Dr. Watson, but the clinic got a new office manager and we started getting threatening phone calls and emails saying they hadn't seen our dogs in 12 months, and that they wouldn't be able to treat out dogs if we didn't bring them in. I asked if they were past due for vaccinations, and was told no.
When I said I didn't want to come in, they kept threatening me. When I said I didn't care if they couldn't treat my dogs over the phone, they fired us, and told us to take our business elsewhere.
Apparently, we weren't a profitable enough client. :-(
I asked to speak to Dr, Watson, and was told not to call back,
It sucks, but dropping my review to one star, I'd give no stars if I could,
Dr. Shelby Watson came into the room, made eye contact with me and allowed my suspicious GSD to take a moment to sniff her out. Then Dr. Watson sat on the floor, continued to talk with me as she offered my dog a treat. Other vets wanted to muzzle my dog and/or take her into another room, whereas Dr. Watson had my dog eating out of her hand in minutes.
Dr. Watson patiently listened to my life story while evaluating my dog. She allowed me to hold "Lucy" while she looked in her ears and gave her a rabies booster. Lucy was a good girl and made me proud. She even listened to me and heeled to the front desk, making me look good. :-D
It was such a great visit, I asked Dr. Watson for a hug afterwards. I look forward to bringing my dogs to Big Valley in the future, and I'd highly recommend them to you. 10 Stars!
