Karis, from Bike Barn Rentals was instrumental in supporting our "Dad & Daughter Day" on Bainbridge Island. You see, we had plans on taking the Ferry over and renting E-Bikes for the day, but failed to reserve them... during the weekend!
Stupid move, I know!
Anyway, when we called back to place ourselves on a wait list (just in case someone canceled their reservation), Karis was completely supportive and understanding. She gave no promises, but put us first on a list anyway.
We'll, check it out...in 5 minutes, she called me back and said 2 E-Bikes just became available, and she would hold them for us!
Wowsers!
She actually "held" the bikes for us while we were on the phone, while riding the Ferry over. She just as easily could have rented them in a heartbeat with such demands in her already crowded showroom. When we arrived 30 mins after opening, the place was packed, and the demand was high!
But there sat our two bikes! Yay for Karis!
And they performed beautifully, easy to learn and ride, they were quiet, had solid brakes, held their charge incredibly well, even after 5 hrs and seeing the whole Island, and, and...even with full throttle and no pedal assist up the hills, and boy did they take those hills!
"Smiles for miles" on both of us kids all day long. What a joy to ride bicycles again!
