Dan runs the only bike service on Mercer island. He was a lifesaver when I had a bad flat, but it also gave me an opportunity to share the treasure trove of his experience in the bike industry. He clearly loves bikes -- he's the founder of Maxxis tires and a prolific inventor. And he's the kindest, sweetest soul I've come across in a bike shop.

Dan saved the day for me when I got my second flat on my long ride. He helped me get my tire repaired and gave me some great advice for my bike. He knows his bikes better than anyone in Seattle and I’ll be going to him for future repairs.
