I totally respect what bike works does as a public service. I had my bike stolen which was a travesty due to the fact I'm on a fixed income. It would have been next to impossible to save enough money to replace my bike anytime soon. I learned about them from an acquaintance and looked them up on the internet long story short they furnished me with a mountain bike, lock, 2 lights and a helmet free of charge no questions asked. Bike Works has a whole array of programs, they even have a practice bike rack used on city busses that are for you to practice. Donate to a good Green cause if you can.
