I booked an appointment for service and oil change on my Camry for 1:30pm. I pulled into the service garage at 1:26. As I parked an employee came over to confirm my appointment and told me Juan (could be getting the name wrong) would be with me shortly and to remain in the car. So I waited.
About 10 minutes later another employee walked over and started getting my mileage and asking me a few questions, and told me that she would take me over to Juan. She was nice and friendly. I sat down with Juan and he got me going in a matter of minutes. He told me it we be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. This was much longer than I was expecting but I walked over and found a seat in the waiting area and plopped down at 1:50pm. At 2:22pm I heard my name called. 30 minutes was more inline with my initial expectations but far better than what they prepped me for. Overall I had a decent visit and I feel they did a good job. Overall time for my service from drive up to drive off was about 56 minutes.
Everyone was friendly and the place had a calm quiet way about it.
Too long didnt read: went in for oil change. They damaged my tint and replaced it without my acknowledgement. Gave me a truck that was not safe to drive whatsoever. Had an envelope full of invoices that felt like cash from the outside stolen from inside the truck.
It's time for my oil change and I've decided after my last service I will not be returning to Toyota for services anymore despite my family and I coming here for decades with no issues. My last service with Dennis Zuniga on 3/4/24 was simply unacceptable. I went in for a routine oil change and waited there for it to be completed. Apparently, they damaged the tint while peeling off the oil change sticker so they said they would see if they could fix it. I arrived later to pick up my truck and I learned that they took it to a tint shop and changed my tint without my approval whatsoever. I was lucky that they ended up going to a shop I had my tint originally done so they replaced it with the same tint. Who knows what they would have chosen if that were not the case. Again, I was not informed any of this was happening. After I picked up my truck, I get all sorts of check warning lights going off, the throttle was very sputtery/partly operational. I almost got rear-ended at an intersection because my car suddenly stopped going due to the issues. I take the truck back to the dealer and he really tried telling me there's nothing they could do about it until tomorrow and to come back tomorrow. I had to argue with him saying my car is not safe and I'm not taking it back until it's actually drivable for them to actually give me a loaner. The only way Toyota rectified this for me was to tell me that they are sorry...
