I had learned about Bite Society when I was planning a business trip to Seattle for the weekend of March 22nd-24th. Was really excited to try their products when I learned about them through Pike’s Place Market website.
I love the history and their message with their company and knowing it’s a local company based in Washington.
When I was able to visit the booth at Pike’s Place Market on March 24th, I tried the samples of the cookies and the cookies were good. I also love the designs of the merch and packaging of the products.
Despite those good things, my experience at the Bite Society booth in the Market was not good.
I was greeted by a white man with dirty sand color blonde hair with a mustache who had an accent, maybe from New Zealand, looked to be in his late 20s to early 30s. Despite giving me samples and what not, he treated me coldly as if I was bothering him.
I barely had a conversation with him, not sure what his attitude was about, maybe he was having a bad day but I have worked in customer service retail jobs and never have I ever given a customer a rude attitude, even with having a bad day myself.
If you’re going to stop by this booth at the Market in Seattle, be wary if you see this guy….
