After reading Google reviews, we selected Black Bear Diner for our dinner on our one night in Sequim. They were getting quite busy at 6:15, but we were seat quickly. I was happy to learn that Misty would be our server, as she had been mentioned in several reviews. She lived up to her reputation! She provided friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service. Our food arrived quickly, our drinks were refilled promptly and we had a great experience. We saw the portions were huge, so we opted for the smaller portions of the ham and cheese omelet and the pot roast. Our meals were very good, but even the small portion was big to us. Thanks to Misty and the team at Black Bear Diner Sequim for taking good care of us!

We have been going to BBD for years. The food is great and the place is just fun. With the landscaping outside and the decor inside its an enjoyable place to eat.

The atmosphere was great and I love the way the restaurant looks inside. We both ordered the fish and chips and I would have to say this is the best fish I’ve ever had. First off the coleslaw was fresh made and was excellent usual when it’s made in house I’ve have found that it’s vinegar tasting this was great. The fish was delicious lightly battered and was very crunchy not soggy tasting at all. The fries were also good but I should have ordered plain fries as I don’t care for salty fries but they were still good. We got 3 pieces of fish and was a lot of food. Our server was also very good and very cheery. My kudos to the chefs and the rest of the staff. I’m from Alberta and unfortunately we don’t have a Black Bear Diner there but sure wish we did.
