This is a lovely bookstore and coffee shop a few blocks from the beach (and across the street from Hook Fish!). I think the best part is the beautifully landscaped back patio, which is filled with all sorts of flowers, botanicals and succulents to enjoy and purchase. Lots of local treasures from Bay Area artists and authors.
This cafe is a gem in the neighborhood. Loved the window service facing the sidewalk where coffee lovers can walk up, order their coffee, mingle with neighbors and the super friendly staff. Step inside and the interior has a lovely selection of well curated books with an additional section for children to find books within their reach with thoughtfully provided sitting areas for them to dive in to their new selection. The exterior patio hidden behind the book area is an absolutely well thought out space. I won't give away its charm but it's definitely worth going by and seeing for yourself. That thoughtful "have a nice day" by the barista as several of us were leaving was just icing on the cake. Lovely, thank you for bringing a little slice of joy to this amazing city. Can't wait to return soon! Whomever set up your aesthetic there - please make more of these coffee gems. Five stars ✨✨✨✨✨
